PUBLIC NOTICE | ROAD CLOSURE | HANCOCK FLINNS ROAD GRENFELL
27 MAY 2024 – 14 JUNE 2024
Weddin Shire Council would like to advise the Community that Council will be undertaking a culvert replacement works at Hancock Flinns Road which is approximately 3 km from the intersection of Sandy Creek Road.
The works are scheduled to commence from the week starting 27 May 2024 through to 14 June 2024, weather permitting. These works will be conducted under a full road closure at the culvert site. The closure will remain in place for the full duration of the works. Works will be undertaken between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
All nearby residents and motorists on Hancock Flinns Road in the vicinity of the causeway will be detoured throughout the duration of the construction works via detour signage.
Some noise and dust disturbance is expected due to the use of various plant and equipment on site, however any impact to residents will be minimised where possible.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the works period.
