 ROAD CLOSURES(PDF, 206KB) HENRY LAWSON FESTIVAL

Weddin Shire Council would like to inform road users that there will be a number of temporary road closures during the June long weekend for the Henry Lawson Festival of Arts.

Please be advised of the following road closures in Grenfell on Saturday 10 June 2023 to Sunday 11 June 2023 between 6:00am to 6:00pm.

Road Closures:

1. Main Street and Burrangong Street from Camp Street to Mid Western Highway, Short Street
2. Forbes Street from Schweitzer Lane to George Street.

   Note: Schweitzer Lane will not be closed and will be open to traffic from Forbes Street.

   Please be advised of the following additional road closure in Grenfell on Saturday 10 June 2023 between 1:00pm to 2:00pm to allow for the street parade.

   Additional Road Closure:

3. Schweitzer Lane from Main Street to Main Street/Burrangong Street closed.

As part of the Henry Lawson Festival of Arts, we kindly ask that vehicles be removed from the Main Street and Burrangong Street from Camp Street to the Mid Western Highway and Forbes Street from Schweitzer Lane to George Street prior to the designated road closure times.
