COMMUNITY INPUT WILL SHAPE YOUR SHIRE
Weddin Shire Council is inviting residents to have a say on Weddin: 2035. These planning documents will guide the future of Weddin Shire for the next ten years, and public feedback is vital to ensure they reflect the community’s priorities.
Three community engagement opportunities are currently available. Whether you take part in the telephone survey, complete the online survey, or provide written feedback, your voice matters.
Mayor Paul Best said: “Weddin: 2035 is the most important document council develops. It’s vital that we get feedback from as many people as possible. I encourage all residents to take part in the online survey or review the draft documents and share their thoughts with us.”
Micromex Telephone Survey
Council engaged Micromex, a respected research company, to carry out a telephone survey of 150 residents on landline and mobile numbers. The survey will run until 21 April 2025 and will ask questions about the draft Weddin: 2035 and how satisfied residents are with council services. As the survey is random, not everyone will be contacted. If you receive a call, we strongly encourage you to participate.
Online Survey
For those who are not contacted by telephone, an online survey will be available from 3 April 2025. The online survey will ask the same questions as the telephone survey and will be open until 21 April 2025. You can find the online survey here: https://app.keysurvey.com/f/41777290/9281/
