With harvest in full swing, you’ll spot more tractors, trucks, and wide-load farm equipment on the roads. Let’s keep everyone safe by following these simple reminders:
  • Give trucks and machinery plenty of space—their larger loads need extra room to stop.
  • Double-check before pulling onto main roads. Fully loaded grain trucks have a longer stopping distance than cars.
  • If concerned about debris, pull over safely to protect your windscreen.
  • Respect wide-load warnings and pay attention to safety signs.
  • Look out for special signs indicating trucks turning or crossing ahead.
Thanks for staying alert and helping keep our roads safe this season! Here’s to a safe and successful harvest for all our farmers!
