From 1 July 2021, all Development Applications, Complying Development Certificates, Construction Certificates, Occupation Certificates and other documents must be lodged online via the
NSW Planning Portal (https://www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/)

Applicants will no longer be able to submit their development applications directly to Weddin Shire Council.
Council still requires relevant applications and supporting documentation throughout the development application process. Attached at the end of this page are some of Council's forms which are required to be completed and uploaded on the NSW Planning Portal. A brief description of these forms and when they are required can be found below:
- Owners Authorisation Form - To be completed and uploaded on the NSW Planning Portal at the Development Application lodgment stage.
- Principal Certifier Contract - To be completed and uploaded on the NSW Planning Portal at the Construction Certificate/Complying Development lodgment stage.
- Statement of Environmental Effects - To be completed and uploaded on the NSW Planning Portal at the Development lodgment stage.
- Commencement of Work - To be completed and uploaded on the NSW Planning Portal once the Construction Certificate/Complying Development has been determined and PRIOR to any work commencing.
- Cost summary table (for development under $3 million) - For DA/CDC applications lodged on or after 4 March 2024 (pursuant to Section 6 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021.
