Cr Diprose has lived 28 years (intermittently) so far in the region. Since 2007, Cr Diprose and his wife have owned and managed “Ochre Arch” out on Pinnacle Way. Together they run merino sheep and beef cattle and host farm tours which brings visitors to the region. After completing a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics at UNE, Cr Diprose was with the NAB for 25 years at locations including Sydney, Kings Cross, Ultimo, Orange, Wollongong and Melbourne in roles including retail, business and corporate banking, operational and strategic planning, and major project management. Cr Diprose has also had three years as business development director for a small company advancing regenerative agricultural practices throughout Australia. Cr Diprose is well known for his involvement in a number of community groups including the Grenfell Men’s Shed where he has been Treasurer since 2013, Weddin Landcare and the Grenfell to Greenethorpe Rail Trail Working Party. As a Councillor, Cr Diprose’s intent is to see us improve services and amenities so that we reverse population decline and a need to attract young families and grow employment opportunities making us sustainable into the future. A father of three who with their respective partners live locally and in different states.
