Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise of the following closure's for Friday 27 March 2026:

*Grenfell Visitor Information Centre - CLOSED ALL DAY
*Grenfell Art Gallery - CLOSED ALL DAY
*Grenfell Public Library - CLOSED ALL DAY
*Weddin Shire Council Administration - Closed 10:30am - 1:30pm
*Service NSW - Closed 10:30am - 1:30pm.

COMMUNITY NOTICE | WEED SPRAYING - GRENFELL HISTORICAL RAILWAY

Council wishes to advise that weed spraying will be
undertaken around the surrounding land at the Historical
Grenfell Railway Station from Monday 16 March 2026.

Areas to be treated will be identified by temporary barriers.
Patrons of the area will be asked to move while spraying is
undertaken throughout the week.

COMMUNITY NOTICE | WEED SPRAYING FROM 9 MARCH 2026

Weddin Shire Council advises that weed spraying will be
undertaken in various locations around Grenfell from
Monday 9 March 2026.
Areas to be treated include Goodsell Park, Grenfell Dog Park,
and State Highway (SH6) Rest Stops.
The herbicide Glyphosate, a broad-spectrum systemic herbicide
will be used with an indicator dye to control broadleaf weeds.

ROAD WORKS NOTICE | 9 MARCH 2026

Weddin Shire Council wishes to advise that the following road works are continuing, weather permitting:
* Stock Route Road Works - necessary culvert replacement
* Dunkleys Land and Barkers Road, Greenethorpe - Gravel resheeting.
Works will occur Monday to Friday from 7am - 5pm, please follow signage and allow extra travel time
